I can seriously say I LOVE my jobs! Even though photography is a bit slow right now, I love it! Capturing moments it what I feel compelled to do....it's like it's part of who I am! My daughters' are always having the camera in hand now..lol It is quite comical...especially when they use my "pro"camera. It is so huge up in front of their face! I am so happy to be passing this gift to them & showing them when they are capturing memories..it is for a lifetime!

My daycare job is just wonderful! I have the BEST group of daycare families. How is it that I am so lucky to have them in my life...my family's lives! The kiddos can stress me out at times...but hey, I am human! These kiddos have become part of my family....their parents are just awesome! The kiddos love my girlies, they get so excited to see them...they forget about me, lol :)

The parents are always so thoughtful & helpful to me & my family! I truly love them & I can honestly say that they are more than my daycare families....they have become our friends!!

I thank God everyday for my jobs!

I know I have not been updating our family blog lately…but…It has been a very busy, stressful few months.

Mark had to go on disability beginning of March due to his ankle. He has been in so much pain. He just had surgery(scoping)on it to remove some arthritis from it. It is to help levitate some of the pain he has been dealing with. Even though he has had this done, he is still in so much pain. He has no cartridge between the two bones in his ankle, so when he walks for any amount of time, he is in pain. Not sure what the next step is..except pray that he can through day by day!

Mark just turned 50 years old in May! We had a surprise for him & he was definitely surprised! It was a great party! You know how hard it is to plan a surprise party when he has been home?! OMG, thank God for our family & friends that has helped me pull this off!They ROCK!! I could not thank them enough!

My sister Sandra & her crew came to visit for Easter. It was great! We had a wonderful time. I was finally able to do their first family photos. Because of timing & worried about the weather, we did them in my sister Sherry’s backyard. There is a lot of greenery there & it made a very nice background for the photos. They were so happy with them all. Their daughter Isis is a beautiful little girl. She is full of energy & always smiling. I love seeing my sister as a Mother. She & Marion had waited so long for this. They are wonderful parents. I wish they live closer so we can raise our kids together. We are always missing them.

My brother Paul is still keeping positive in losing the weight. It is a struggle everyday for him. He has hospice to come out to help him move around. He has his days when he is depressed & then he has days where he is in good spirits. It is a struggle for him to stay positive everyday! Of course we worry about him all the time. He has started a blog to share his feelings or just post some poetry. You can check it out here.

The girls are getting so tall & more beautiful as they get older. We just love the funny things they do & say! They are definitely different with their personalities. They have their fights…& believe me they can fight! But they are very close. I love hearing them in their room playing & then all the sudden you hear “giggling”. Mark &; I start to laugh! It really is cute! I do hear them whisper here &; there…then you hear the giggling again. I will walk in their room & ask them what is so funny & they may or may not share. But that is ok! I hope the bond they share will always remain with them. They are just sweetest girls & we love them more than words can say!

The girls finished 3rd grade & they are so thrilled to be done with school & ballet for the summer. ..oh yea, we can't forget about Girl Scouts! I am quite happy for the break too! We all needed a break from the routine. Gabriella received the “Bear” award at school. They only choose 1 child from each class. We were ecstatic when we heard that she will be receiving this!! Miranda & Gabriella also received the Star student awards. We are so proud of our lil’ beauties

The girls also had their annual Ballet recital. They were fabulous! They were in two dances & they worked so hard at it. Their teacher Miss Sam is an awesome gal. She loves the girls & they love her too. We will miss dearly her when she moves to Colorado. There are only three girls in the class. My two & their friend Madalyn. They have become very close & they just love being with each other :) Not to mention her mom & I became such good friends.

Johnny turned 22 years old last week…omg, where did the time go!? It seems lyesterday that we were changing his diapers. He is still in the reserves for the Army. He is looking for a job but can’t find anything. He is doing well. He is living his life to the fullest by partying & having fun with friends. He knows to be responsible when he is drinking….& I do ask him all the time!! My handsome baby boy is growing up!

Leann & her crew are good! Leann & Ken were married on Valentine’s Day! It was a beaul day & they looked fabulous! They were married at District Court. To our surprise the Mercury Reporter was there & the made front page of the newspaper. I did their wedding portraits at Valley Forge Park. I was so happy to do them, & they were too! We had a small gathering at Macchiano’s for dinner & it was a great time!

The boys, RJ, Jordan & Stevie are getting so big & so handsome too! They are doing & doing good in school. They always keep Leann & Ken on their toes. lol

I have been crazy busy with my two jobs. Daycare is really good! I have the most amazzzzing daycare families. They have are so supportive & sensitive to my family needs. Always asking how Mark is, how I am doing, how are the girls…. & so on! When Mark couldn’t drive b/c of his ankle, they would offer any help that I needed. I thank God every day for them.

Photography is good too! Sessions are coming along. I have been busy with revamping the look of my branding. I am also working on creating templates for Photographers to purchase. I am hoping to have this ready by the end of the year. I love graphic design & found that I enjoy creating!

I was recently featured on Erica Shurter’s Photography website..It was such an honor!
I also had the pleasure to do an amazing session with a dear friend of mine who is battling cancer. I had written a post about it on my website.

I can complain or even cry about my crazy life…but let me say this!
When I spoke with Ally’s sisters’ & parents…you put things into a whole new perspective! You can never imagine what they are going through unless you have been through it! I see her family exhausted, scared & worried what is going to happen. They know what is going to happen…& you pray that it doesn’t. All they can do right now is love & be there for Ally.

What you may complain about, is nothing compare to this! Don’t get me wrong, we all need to vent…I vent everyday & have friends & family that are going through a difficult times with things in their lives, but just remember, there is always someone going through something that does not compare to what they are going through! I am tired every freaking day, but its life...And I deal with it! I have a family that depends on me & when I need a break, I take it!

~Please don’t take what I am saying is be chalice...I am just saying is all!

I wish I could take the pain away from what Ally & her family are going through. They will be forever in my heart & prayers.

For now we are enjoying our summer & creating more memories! Hopefully I will make more time to update the blog…yeah right! Ha!

R.I.P. Diamond..:(

Diamond was a loving, sweet & gentle dog. She was wonderful with the all the kids the surrounded her. She became part of our family when she approx. 4 months old....today she is 14 years old. She is an American Staffordshire Terrier (known as a Pit Bull). She was the most lovable dog. Everyone loved her....the kids would sit on her & she would just look at us like.."I don't care".

Whenever our best friend Dave would come over, she would yipe like crazy with excitement. She would not leave his side. Dave is the one who found Diamond for us. Diamond also loved our son Johnny too...she would yipe with excitement when Johnny would come over to visit. When Johnny lived at home, Diamond would sleep with him every night. Diamond was his baby.

She had lime disease twice, she over came that. We knew the time would come when this day will come when we had to make the heart wrenching decision to have her put down. For the past year, we knew she wasn't doing well...although she kept ticking away. She had a blister/cyst on her back paw & we could tell it was painful. We would take her to the vet & get medicine for her to keep her comfortable & help her with the pain. The Vet told us she still has alot of life in her. She would have accidents here & there, but not enough to think she is getting worst. We would just clean the mess up & still give her love. We didn't want to think that the time would come to have her put down...who can make a decision like that!? For several months, We would agonize over what to do...it's not that easy when you love a pet so much.So we figured she would let us know when it was time & she did. Today I found her outside not able to walk & her gums were white. Mark was thinking she was having a heart attack. She was cold & having a hard time breathing. I called the Vet & said this could be it. At the time we were crying & not sure what to do...all we could think about was her suffering & we did not want that to happen to her. Mark & Johnny took her to the Vet & she went off to sleep. Her heart sounded ok, but she was having trouble breathing, so that's when we out it was Respiratory failure.I know she had good life & she will be missed. I keep thinking that the girls didn't even have the chance to say good bye to her. Everything happened so fast & we couldn't let her suffer anymore. We know that she is not in pain & not suffering anymore.

We love you Diamond "Brumples"...you will be forever missed!

Our wishes had come true....who would of thought we would be blessed with two girls! Our baby girls are 9 years old today....:) Time flew by for us..they have grown into such wonderful little girls who can make your heart just melt! They are changing so much...one day they like or be doing one thing then the next it is the opposite! We are trying to keep up with them. We are looking forward to their birthday party...well, they are looking forward to it more (lol) on Saturday..we are doing a "Tiger" theme this year, that ought to be fun! I took a pic of them this morning before they left for school & they were actually good about it...no bribing this time!!

Our girls started 3rd grade today! Let me just say that I am the bit least thrilled with IT at the moment..because that means they are growing up!!I want to freeze time..the little moments that I never want to forget:)It seems like they just started pre-school. They are changing so much & we are having a hard time getting a grip on this....I mean, for instance, they just started dressing differently (this started in July, THEIR choice) & personalities..OMG! What a change with these two...they are "night" & "day"! They are becoming increasing independent, not needing us as much. "M" is a Daddy's girl, I mean she is in awww with her Daddy! She has him wrapped around her lil' finger. "G" is all Mommy...when she is hurt or just needs some snuggling, she wants her Mommy! Every now & then they switch up on us...& that is ok too:)They are spoiled, the never need or want for anything..I mean anything!!! I know they will continue to change, grow older & make their own choices..but I will say I we don't have to like it!!

As we say to our girlies, "We love our lil' butterflies to the moon & back ...forever & ever!"

We celebrated Leann's 28th birthday this pass Saturday. She turned 28 years old last Wednesday (28th)...it is hard to believe that we have a 28 year old daughter!! Our youngest grandson Stevie was not able to spend the fun time with us, he was away for the weekend. We had a great dinner that Mark had made...Steak, Crab cakes, Chicken, cob corn & homemade mac & cheese. Lord, it was de~lish:)

it's "21" for Johnny

Yes..it is 21 for Johnny..today he is officially legal to drink {not that I care that he is}..I can't believe how fast it went. Johnny is in the Army reserves, he enlisted at 18 years before he was he was aloud to consume alcohol. It almost seems unreal that could even happen! He joined the Army to train to fight for our country, but you can't have a drink!! hmmm, doesn't seem logic to me!! Now the worrying will start for me, knowing that he can drink, I worry he might want to drink more often...so Johnny, with you reading this, DON'T BE STUPID! We love you & we want you to be responsible the way we raised you to be! Happy Birthday my Baby Boy..we love you so much!

Migraines Suck!!

Our daughter has been dealing with headaches for over a year now. We called her Pediatrician & was advised to see an Eye Doctor which we did. When the Doctor examined her eyes, she said that she has good vision, however she has an issue when she focuses on something, her eyes start going all over the place. She suggested to take her to see a Vision Therapist. She told us that all the Therapist would do was have her play video games..we can do this at home. This is what could be causing her headaches!! Ok, now we think we solved the problem...or not!! So about year passed & the headaches are more frequent & worst. So we scheduled another appointment with the Eye Doctor for a follow up to see if the problem she was having is still going on.

It was a Friday, our girls had went on a field trip with their school to celebrate Earth Day. When they came home, they both were tired & they were not thrilled with this field trip at all..needless to say! "G" fell asleep on the couch & kept the blanket over her face. She said that her head hurts & she was tired. I told her to lay down & rest. A few hours later she woke up & said she had an upset belly & didn't want to eat dinner. She didn't want any motrin, she just wanted to lay down. About 10:00 that night, she was complaining that her head hurt really bad..so this time I said "you are taking some motrin"! I came back into the living room & she said "Mommy, I can't stop shaking", I said "are you playing?" She said "no"! Well I panicked & called the Pediatrician & said to get her to the hospital. We got her to the hospital & by that time the tremors had stopped. I was kind of upset that the hospital didn't do any further testing on her. Her sugar was a little high, but returned to normal. They said it was nothing to be alarmed about., but she is a little dehydrated. Which I found hard to believe..she loves her milk & water. They suggested to follow up with her Pediatrician on Monday.Well that was a waste of our time sitting in the Emergency room til 2:30 in the morning to be told to follow up with her Pediatrician..not just with one daughter but two daughters!!

So,we followed up with our Pediatrician & he diagnosed her with Migraines..& he referred us to see a Neurologist. So here we go again, to another Doctor! Then he said the same thing. Migraines is what she has!! As he puts it "Migraines hurt like the dickens". The reason why she had the tremors is because her body was trying to cope with the pain....crazy, huh? Of course I was thinking the worse..a mass on her brain, a tumor. But thank you Lord, it is what is & we can treat it with motrin. The Neurologist did prescribe a preventive medication for her but we are doing some extensive research on it because what it is being currently used for. So for now we will monitor her & keep motrin on hand & even when we are out &; about. She is ok now & still gets headaches but at least we know what it is & how to make her feel comfortable.

My girls love to help in the kitchen..especially if they want eggs for breakfast. They love to crack the eggs & whip them up. They also like cooking them too. I don't mind them learning how to cook nor do I mind them helping, but the one thing I do mind is that this is a sign of them wanting to be more independent & they are growing up! I am not ready at all..but I know it is gonna happen whether I like it or not. However I must say that I am happy that they do take an interest in helping out & wanting me to show them how to do things. I love feeling needed by them (even though I just want some alone time here & there) & saying "mommy, I want to do it" or "how do you do it?". I know I need to get over it, but they are my babies & we are not having anymore unless the Man upstairs has other ideas..lol:) What I am trying to say is that Leann & Johnny are grown now & it went by so fast..We do try to take in every moment with them, but before you know it....they are off doing their own thing. I am blessed to have wonderful children & God knows I love them more than life it's self! I am just not ready to let them grow up..so I will enjoy every moment & capture all the memories I can:)

Our girls absolutely LOVE waffles!! They eat it almost everyday. Usually with the typical butter & syrup added....but lately they have a new way of eating waffles..with PEANUT BUTTER & SYRUP!! Yep, you heard me right!! I would not try it..but they love it.i guess whatever makes them happy;0)

It don't look bad..actually looks good..but the thought of peanut butter & syrup together just makes stomach feeling funky!!

Our girls are having a photo contest in honor of "Reading Across Our Community Celebration" to help promote literacy. All of the parents are asked to photograph their child reading & submit a photo to school. I love being creative, but I have to say that it is rubbing off on my girls:) They came up with the idea of having their photo taken with one of our pets..what a fabulous idea!!!
If they don't win the contest, that is ok b/c these photos are too funny & it was THEIR idea..that's what counts!!

Snow Storm

We woke up this morning & there was already 2 ft of snow...& it was still snowing!! I can not believe how much snow we got! Our dogs went out this morning to do their business & they were struggling to get to the yard..it was so funny:) The girls love the snow, they can not wait to go out in it. I am looking forward to doing some scrapbooking & staying in pajamas. Mark will probably venture out later & shovel. The girls will most likely stay their pj's too & play Barbies or the ps2...I love having to be snowed in for a day or two:) It does look beautiful outside!

what has been making me SOOOO tired?

I want to start off by saying I am so grateful for my life...my husband, my children, my animals, my family & my friends!

I have been extremely tired lately (about a few weeks). I am stressing about getting my taxes together...I really hate doing all these darn calculations..ugh..I just want to SCREAM! The daycare has been keeping me busy, not necessarily a bad thing..just happy to see smiling faces & hearing laughter.

I also have been worried about one of our closest friend.. She & her family are dealing with a crisis...her brother has Lung cancer & is not looking good. We continue to pray for them daily & think about them often. Another close friend of ours was very ill & was hospitalized. Thank God he went to the Hospital...if he had of waited for 1 more day, he wouldn't be with us today. He is ok now, just follow ups with the doctor.

I worry about my Son if he is going to be deployed or what he is going to do with his life. He has all these ideas what he wants to do, but doesn't seem to have any ambition. He was told last week he may go to Haiti to help...but no word yet. He worries me...a smart young man who could have it all.. but he rather have a good time partying. Is this what this is in the young world today? He joined the Army 2 years ago not knowing how it could change his life. He says he wants to work for the Army & he wants to be deployed...I don't think he really knows what he wants to do with his life. If is the Army...then so be it!

I am very organized person & I am always keeping things in order. I am known as the Mom/Wife who keeps everything straight & staying on top of things. Lately,that has not been the case. However, I will get back on track!!! Mark my words....I need to get out of this funk! I know the things I worry about, there is not much I can do but pray & let our friends know we are there for them. Taxes...well, that I can not wait to be done with that (1more week). Thank God my sister is helping me with my book keeping for next year..I can not be bothered with it, nor do I have the time or energy for it!!

I do not like this house we are in..the oil alone is putting a damper on us financially. I mean..we just got oil 5 weeks ago ($618) & then woke up this beautiful Sunday morning with NO heat or hot water. So on top of that we ahd to get our heater primed pay additional $50 for the guy just to deliver on Sunday. I can understand the fee...he is being taken away from hs family on his day off. So here we are again...$640 later to fill our tank. Our truck is in the shop for inspection...so must you ask what that will cost...I don't want to know! This causes me to lose sleep.

So, I am upgrading my camera. I am not buying it outright at the moment.. I am saving my money. I have almost half saved. I really want this camera! With my Photography taking off, I need to upgrade:) It makes sense for me to get a better camera. This camera is a Beast compare to what I am using. It is NOT beginners camera so I know I have the knowledge on how to use it. My husband has been very supportive with my Photography...he was the one who pushed me to do something I truly love! My family & friends have been great too. Allowing me to photo shoot their lives has been wonderful!

Since my Grandmothers death, I think about her everyday. I know she is in peace..but I do think about her alot, & I even talk to her! Don't worry, I am not going crazy, it just gives me peace:)

My brother Paul is having a lot of health problems because of his weight, he is obese & is always being hospitalized. I wish he could just lose the weight & get himself healthy. I am scared he is not going to be with us long. He is only 27 years old & has his whole life ahead of him. But I am afraid for him.

I am so grateful for the many Blessings in my life. Although I am tired & may look horrible (especially if I have no make-up on) I know I will get through the day, I will continue to let my family & friends know that we are there for them & keep them in our prayers. I will get through the day & be grateful for another day. Tomorrow is another day! Things will get done...when I have a moment I will get to it, but for now I will do the best I can do.

So for those of you who see me everyday, excuse me for looking so horrible! I am just tired & I am OK!!!!!

I didn't think we would make it staying up til midnight, but we did! Our grandsons RJ & Jordan came to be with us for the New Year weekend. Every morning when our girls leave for school, we always sign
"I love you" .
We have been doing that to each other since they started pre-school. It started with Johnny first. That was something we always did & now it is passed down to his lil' sisters! As the girls are leaving for school , the girls will turn around & sign to me & then again when their Daddy drives them off to school:) I have to say, it makes my day!!

Keeping busy...as usual!

We have been so busy...always something to do! I have been doing photo shoots every weekend & have been keeping busy tweaking the photos to get them ready for viewing. I scheduled my last photo shoot for December 6th & will resume in January. We also have been going to Ballet rehearsal every Sunday afternoon (they have class on Saturdays). The girls are rehearsing for the Nutcracker that is on December 20th. As we are preparing for upcoming Holidays, I have been busy as can be.. getting our annual Christmas & Daycare party invitations made, finishing up the special projects for the daycare children & had to get them completed & ordered (I can't say now because my daycare families read our blog), Our Christmas card & of course our girls birthday party which is planned for this Saturday. We are so excited! I think I am more excited than they are:) We are doing a Horse theme (no pony rides) & the party favors are cowboy hats & bandannas...so stinkin' cute! I got most of the food, but will need to get more before the party starts. Thank goodness my girlfriend Dana is helping by making something to bring..she rocks! We did get our Christmas tree & decorations up thais pass Sunday. I am so glad that is done! It was so nice because we as a family did it together. Why does December have to be so busy & such chaos? I just want to be able to enjoy the holidays with my family & friends without all the fuss! Everyone is counting down the days...not with enthusiasm, but with fear that things will not get done. Next priority on our list is taking the girls to see Santa & finish our shopping.

Just Thankful...

We sure do have a lot to be thankful for:) We are so blessed to have our wonderful family, faithful friends & our health. Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful! Our friends Dave & Jerri came over to celebrate with us. We had a great time together & we sure did enjoy the wine from New York (Thanks Jerri)! Dave brought a ham (it was so yummy)! Of course we had 18.5lb turkey, mac & cheese, stuffing, candied yams, green beans, corn, collard greens, deviled eggs & cornbread....so delicious! Not to mention New york cheesecake & pumpkin pie for dessert. I do know how to put out a spread!! The girls ate tons & we felt like we were about to burst. Now we can enjoy the leftovers for next few days, of course that is the best part:)

Gabriella's 'spacer" is finally out!

Gabriella's spacer was starting to feel uncomfortable for a few days prior before it started coming out on it's own last Friday night (during a party I was having). There was nothing we could because the Orthodontist was closed. I tried to see if the other side of the spacer was loose but it was in there pretty tight. I tried to tug on it abit , but it hurt her so I left it be. so she pushed side that is hanging back up in her teeth. We had an appointment scheduled but because it was half way out we had to make the appointment sooner. She could not wait for it to come out. Daddy took her to the Orthodontist & the Doctor had to use a special tool to get it out. She got fitted for a different mouth piece (Miranda goes next week for her fitting). After she came home with the spacer, she said the roof of her mouth feels funny. It will take time to get use too sweetheart "I said". Her teeth look really good & straight. We had to threaten her not to suck her thumb again..I think she will do just fine!

Bo was not feeling good good on Thursday. The school nurse called & said that she was complaining of a sore throat & was hot (meaning she has a fever). The nurse said her throat looked ok & she didn't have a fever. She put Bo on the phone & what do I hear on the phone was a soft sad voice....ugh, I hate when she does that! It makes me feel so bad. She told me she just wanted to come home & be with us. So her Daddy went to go & pick her up from school. My feeling was she just wanted some Mommy & Daddy love! She seemed ok for the rest of the night..playing & carrying on with her sister. The next morning, she woke up & she said she really doesn't feel well at all. I took her temp & it shot up to 100.6....I was like "ok then", I guess you are not going to school. We felt really bad for her b/c she was going to miss all the Halloween festivities at school. Her sister told her that she would bring some goodies home for her. I was like"awww" Puni, you are a sweet sister! Her fever stayed pretty much the same all day..the lowest it got was 99.6. This was even with Motrin in her system! I called the Pediatrician and we made an appointment for her for Saturday morning. No ballet today for our girls. Our appointment was pretty close to when class would of started anyway. The diagnosis was she has the Flu & they put her on Tami flu b/c she has asthma. She didn't want her to have to go through testing for the Swine Flu. So she just put her on medication just for the flu. So far so good she seems ok & is responding well to the meds. She is still doing coughing & the doctor said we may have to give her nebulizer treatments. Hopefully she will not miss to much school, but I am pretty sure she will not be going on Monday, & she has a field trip that day. Her teacher told us that the kids are dropping like flies...going to the school nurse & then being sent home. Hopefully Puni will not get sick. But you know how it is with twins??? One gets sick then next week it will the other one! (sigh) What can you do but pray that we get through it! I guess we will see if she will be up to trick or treating. The Doctor said to see how she does tonight. Obviously if she still has a fever she will not be having fun:-( We will just have to make it up to her!

"Boo Bash"

We had a great time this pass Friday at the Boo Bash. Our friend Ashley invited me & my family, my sister & her family & our friend Dana & her family. The party was held at the Pyramid Country Club in Center City. Not to mention that it was held on the 52nd floor..oh my! As you were going up on the elevator your ears would pop & you kind of felt like you would loose your balance too. It was a strange feeling. We had a lot of fun, the kids really had a great time. The food was so yummy..I had swordfish for the very first time, hmm! It was covered with sun-dried tomatoes & olives. Oh my goodness it was so yummy! They had some kiddie food there too, like chicken fingers, bow tie pasta, hot dogs & so on. Also steak too..I think it was anyway. I don't eat beef, but my girls do & they love it! It was exciting because my girls won a gift card to Border's book store for scariest costume & my niece Rachel who was dressed as Minnie Mouse won for cutest. Bo was eating candy corn..next thing you know, she loses her tooth. We thought she swallowed it, but I asked her where she was when she realized it came out & she showed me so we all were looking for it. Then a little girl found it...oh thank you Lord!!! I yelled out the "Tooth Fairy will come!" Even if we didn't find it, the Tooth Fairy still would of left something. It was really nice for us adults to even get together to hang out. I just wish Mark was able to come to join in the fun but he had to work & couldn't get off. I know we were all so grateful to Ashley for inviting us. We could not thank her enough. We are looking forward to getting together again!

The "spacer" is out!

Well Miranda's spacer came tonight...She seemed to be relieved that it is finally out. She has had in for about 3 months. The purpose for this was for it to straighten out her overbite & to help her stop the thumb sucking. It did it's job! The last time the girls were at the orthodontist, he said that he would take out but he was afraid that they may go back to sucking their thumbs. Therefore, if it comes out on it's own, then it will not be put back in. Now we just have to make sure she does not put her thumb back in her mouth. She said that she won't, so we will see!!!

This pass Sunday we celebrated our grandson RJ's 8th birthday. Where did the time go??? He was always a cute little boy, but let me tell you that he is getting even cuter as he gets older! Bo & Puni really enjoy being with him as well as he enjoys being with them. Jordan & Stevie are getting so big & to freaking funny with their little personalities. Well it has been sort of crazy lately! I feel a little overwhelmed with things going on. I have been extremely exhausted. I haven't been feeling well for the past week or so, hopefully we will find out soon from my blood results tomorrow. I believe I am anemic, which wouldn't surprise me because I am slightly anemic already.

The girls had their flu shots this past Saturday & I am glad about that. Everyone is getting sick & the Swine Flu really scares me.

The girls are doing great in Ballet. They are preparing for their upcoming Recital "The Nutcracker" in December. I am really excited. I do like their new dance school. The teacher really takes the the time to work with all the girls to make sure that their "form" is correct. It is a small class, 7 girls!
I am busy with the daycare. I have a great group of children & not to mention the parents' too. My photography is going, not as fast as I would like it to be but that is ok. I have a few shoots lined up for the Fall. I can't wait. That is my favorite tome to do Photo Shoots. Leaves changing to beautiful colors.

Mark is really been trying to help me with the laundry & cleaning, even though his ankle is hurting him. The only day we sleep in is Sunday...thank God for a day to sleep in!

I can not believe that we are in October already! Where did the time go???? I am currently working on a special Christmas present for my daycare parents'. They are gonna love it!

So now we prepare for Halloween traditions. The girls are really excited about their costumes...they are not anything girly this year!

The girls just started their 5th year of dance & tap class. This school is closer to our home & not to mention a smaller class too. The director/teacher has over 50 years of experience. She has a an assistant Miss Sam who also helps with the class. We are looking forward to see what they will learn from this school. The school has a Nutcracker performance every year & they also have a spring recital as well. We can not wait for that performance!

We can not believe our lil' girls started 2nd grade. Where did the time go? It seems like we just finished the first year of Pre-School. The Summer even went by fast. We got the girls up about 7:30 to get them ready to wear the outfits they picked out the night before (so cute). We had a bit of an issue with shoes..the ones we just got are to tight so they will go back to the store for a bigger size. The girls had there "rice krispies" (they picked it out) & some milk. Not to hungry this morning...maybe it was 1st day jitters! Then came 8:45, we had to go! I was excited for them until we got to the school. As we were trying to find their class to meet up with in the gymnasium, the class was already starting to line up. We didn't even get to meet the teacher, I was so annoyed! I started to walk with the girls upstairs to to the classroom...(to take a picture with the teacher & see the classroom & meet the teacher) My name was called! "Mrs. Heschl, you can't go upstairs for security reasons". I was like "what?" What do you mean? I asked. The teacher told me that none of the parents can go to the classrooms and that we could only see them off at the gymnasium. Well I was pissed! And of course I started to cry and the teacher said you can can call to check on them and I said "oh I will!!!". Not very happy at all. What kind of crap is that? I understand about the whole security thing & all, but they should of put that in the letters they sent to us. I mean we don't even know this teacher & she will be with our girls all day. I am sure she is very nice, but I still would like to put a face to who is teaching our girls. But NO we have to wait until Orientation (Sept. 22nd). The schools should have this before school starts. I do believe they are fine ( I did call) and will have a great day seeing their friends. I am having some anxiety with them starting back at school. They are growing up so fast! Gabriella seemed excited but Miranda was a little nervous. I gave them a quick kiss & hug told them to have a good day and I went out the door sobbing. Mark was laughing, but when I told him what happened he understood why I was really upset. He said they will be fine but I should call the school & let them know. The secretary was nice and she checked on the girls for me & they were fine (I knew they would be). Now I can not wait to see them at 3:30!

My daughters & god daughter are so funny together. They always have some dance routine going on. Not to mention, they think they are at a photo shoot together every time they are together, I can't tell you how many photos I have of them together. Oh the memories of those three to together..lol! I have to say that I am glad they are growing up to be so close. Don't get me wrong, we had some issues with one being singled out or the three of them arguing about what to do next. Next thing you know they are showing off their dance moves! Oh, did I mention now they all want to have the same outfits. I have twins, not triplets..hehe! They are a piece of work, but I am glad they have each other.

I t is amazing all the neat things you can do with all your photos. I go to the Adobe website to learn how to do one technique and then find another. Well then, that just gets me doing it and then I am up late until I get it. I love it!

Yes, you heard it right! I did chop my hair off. 10 inches to be exact! I donated to "Locks of Love". The hair dresser told me it will take 10 ponytails to make one wig for that person who is need of one. I feel really good about doing it & I am so glad to be part of it. When I walked into the salon with my husband & girls, I turned around to my husband and said"I feel nausea" he said don't sound like a fool! I just laughed! The hairdresser was very nice and of course Mark took some photos to share!

Johnny was born on

He weighed 7lbs. 11oz & 201/2 inches long.
Believe me when I say that time flew by..I can't believe how fast it went!

We buried Mommom yesterday, and it was the hardest thing we had to do. I was not ready to say goodbye. I just didn't want to let her go. She was very special to me and I know I was to her. I love her so much and saying goodbye was not something I thought I would have to do with her. I guess I figured she would be with us longer. She was born in Plainfield, Georgia, her late husband was Pierce O'Neal who passed on Oct. 16, 1983, she had 2 sons (Paul & Charles & 1 daughter (Rosa) as well as 11 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. She loved people..(just like me). She loved to crochet before she got arthritis. I still have the Afghan she made me when I was 12 years old. I keep it on my quilt rack, because it has a hole in it and I don't want it to tear anymore. I don't know anyone who crochets. So it lays safely on my quilt rack until I can get it fixed. Puzzles were another favorite of hers..she would keep working on it until it was complete. I remember when she would sit there putting the pieces together and I would go over & sit with her & we would just be talking & it would be just natural that you grabbed a puzzle piece and figure it out with her. Mommom loved her sweets. When I was young, her & I would sit & watch tv & eat a whole box of ice cream sandwiches, then if we still wanted more ice cream, she would pull the Klondike bars out. She had such a a sweet tooth! Baking was another part of her life, so many cakes, pies, cookies & candy...so much to choose from. She definitely was a southern cook too. I loved her back eyes peas, pork & collard greens. Her fried corn bread was out of this world. She would get that cast iron skillet burning & fry up that corn bread. There are so many things I will remember about my Mommom and I will pass that along to my children. I know she is in peace now. She isn't having any physical pain or struggling with dementia anymore. She is now in Heaven with Poppop & the Lord. For that we will miss her a great deal and never forget what a what wonderful grandmother she was & she will forever remain in our hearts.

Our girls did a phenomenal job. This is there 4th year of ballet & tap, & their 3rd recital. This years theme was "Philadelphia Freedom". They love dance! They also had an amazing teacher. Miss Bethanie is a fabulous dancer herself. As they are getting older they are getting more graceful & their coordination is even better! Johnny's best friend Lizzie also came to see the recital. She helped us every week with taking the girls back & forth to dance.

Now we have a 2 month break from dance & school, we have to find something else for them to be involved with. Maybe gymnastics!? hmmm, I guess we have to check out some other fun stuff to do.

Update on Johnny...

Johnny has been in the Army (reserves) for 18 months now. He has been going back & forth on whether or not he should go active. For awhile he kept saying that he was going to, but then he decided to enroll in ITT tech for computer networking. He will be going to school for about 6 months (a semester) or until deployment. He will be going to Fort Polk, La. in August for his JRTC training to prepare him for deployment. He will be there for about 3 weeks or so I believe. Come January, 2010 he most likely will be deployed to Afghanistan for 18 months. Johnny is doing really good. He is enjoying the partying life with his friends. He was working, but that didn't work out for him. He really does have his mind set on finishing school and getting his degree. Computers has always been a great interest to him. To the point when he was in high school, he hacked into the school computers (he did get caught & got reprimanded). He always kept breaking into the computers. You would think he would learn from the first time....not! I can not believe how much he has grown. He does stay out of trouble, not that he ever was. Johnny will be 20 years old in 2 weeks (June 27th). Despite of his decisions, we are so proud of him! I know he will choose his path & find his way!

Our girls love to pick flowers. Whenever we go for a walk, along the way they are picking flowers. They have been doing this since they started walking.

people (usually my kids) on paths. I love paths, especially if has a nice curved look to it!

I have been doing photography for as long as I can remember (many years), but professionally for about 2 years. I am very passionate about it. I do have some faithful clients, even some of my family & friends have been very supportive. My goal by the next year is to have a website so I can attract more clients. It would be great too for my friends & family to see my work as well. I always love hearing what people have to say about my photos. I also enjoy seeing other photographers work too. I definitely feel empowered to do better...I guess that is why I do take a lot pictures. I am always looking for that captured moment.

Rachel's "Forever Home" Celebration

My sister & her husband Dave adopted their daughter from China 1 year ago. It seems like she has always been in our family. What a cutie she is. She can melt your heart in an instant. Sherry & Dave had a small gathering at their house to celebrate her "gotcha day". We had Chinese food for dinner and for dessert, a ladybug cake that their friend Tina made (yummy). The kids enjoyed using the chop sticks (at least they tried too anyway). Rachel was so funny trying to put the chop sticks back in the envelope that they were in. We also watch home movies of them when they went to China to get her. Rachel is now 20 months old, she is smart as a whip. She talks very well for age & loves to sing. Big brother Jake is very good with her and is always playing with her too. You can tell that Sherry & Dave feel blessed to have two beautiful children that they love so much.

These photos were taken at school. I can't believe the girls are 71/2 years old & almost done 1st grade. It went so fast. It's amazing how much they are learning. They love books!!!! The enjoy reading & being read too. Math is not Miranda's best subject, she does not want any part of it. As soon as it is time to learn math, she slouches in her chair, starts twirling her hair & sucks her thumb. As for Gabriella, she doesn't mind it at all. Art is definitely a favorite between the two of them. They get so excited when it is art day. Keeping the girls in the same class was the best decision that we made, and we will have them together again for 2nd grade. Some people believe that twins should be separated in school b/c they think they will develop their own personality. But I have to say that our girls do have their own personality and they have their own friends. They will play together at recess but will do their own thing.

I still dress my girls alike, b/c it's easier when shopping for them. They don't mind it at all. I am sure before we know it, they will be doing their own thing, but for now we enjoy it while we can.

Springing into Spring...

We had a wonderful Easter...Johnny our friend Dave came & spent time with us. Johnny was so tired, he worked the night shift and didn't get off until 7am. We were so happy to see him. The girls were so excited to show off the new addition to the Heschl clan...2 guinea pigs. I know, we must be nuts to have more animals in the house, but the girls wanted them so bad and so of course we gave in & the Easter Bunny surprised them. They are the cutest little things. We love the Spring! The girls had so much energy to let out and we are itching to do outside activities. I must say though I can't wait until I start planting some flowers to make our house look pretty. I love seeing the leaves appear on the trees & bushes out our windows. I ma excites about spring cleaning. Although I clean everyday and always reorganizing (I don't like clutter & a dirty house), I always find something that needs to be done. Oh, and laundry is never ending!!! The girls are even into helping out. Daddy promised them allowance every week for helping out. Mark went out yesterday to to replace a part in the lawn mower and come to find out that the mower is shot!!!! Not very happy and now we are not sure if we should replace it with a new mower or find a cheap landscaper! We only had the darn thing for 2 summers. I finally got my DPW license for the daycare. It took forever! Daycare is going good and I am having more photo shoots here & there. Mark would love to find a new job with more money. The problem is we have really great health insurance and we need that now with Mark's medication & with the girls asthma. We will see what lies ahead. We will be positive! My Mommom is doing ok. She is back in the nursing home. We went to see her this pass Friday and she was talking to us and recognized us. We were thrilled that she remembered! Her dementia is in & out. So she will talk about things that happened along time ago. She looked really good and she seemed to be feeling better too. My mother in law is doing better too. She broke her hip about month or so ago. We saw her as well on Friday and was so good to see her. The girls love playing with her dog "Tank". That dog will lick you to death. Pictures of the girls were taken in my mother in laws backyard. I love these photos...Spring has arrived!!!!!

I have lived with my Mommom on & off for 18 years. I am her third grandchild & My son John was her first great grand child. She is my father's mother. She is very special to me and now we are all sad because she is not well. She is suffering from Alzheimer's and she in the final stages of it. She is in a nursing home now and it is really hard seeing her. She doesn't even remember me, (and she practically raised me & she gave me away at my wedding). She loves Mark and was so happy that I found a man that loves me & will take care of me & our kids. She use to worry about me because I was a single mother and was struggling to get by until I met Mark. I would always tell I will be alright Mommom, don't you worry. And she would say " Debbie, I can't help but worry". She is the nicest person and let me tell you she loved to talk & have company over. Every time we would go & visit she would make us feel bad for leaving and we would be there for a few hours....We would tell her we have to go & she would say "Already, you just here". I would tell her we will come back & visit but she didn't want to hear that. She loved having company to visit. I really miss how she use to be and I feel bad for know that is going through this. My Aunt Rosa took care of her for the last five years or so. Thank goodness for her & her husband Anthony. He built an addition on the house for her so she wouldn't be alone. Thank goodness for them. It would be awful if she had to through this alone.
I wish I could take this away from her or from anyone for that matter. I pray that she will be in peace and not in pain. We saw her this pass Sunday and that was the hardest thing to do. She has aged so much and looked helpless. She would take our hand & kiss it and just hold it. She would even cry at times. I think she knows that she is dying. We kept telling her that the doctors will take of you, just rest now. We also told her that we all loved her. She use tell me I was very special to her, although she loved all her grandchildren...she was attached to me as I was with her. I really miss the way she was. Just those little things you might shake off, they are what I cherished. She would tell me stories about her and Poppop and how they met and all the family issues. She & my Aunt Rosa would start baking for Thanksgiving & Christmas in October. We would have so many Cake's, pies, cookies & candy. Her pecan pies & pecan turtles were the best. I have not had any likes hers ever. Nothing compared to hers. She loved pecans, she would just shell them and enjoy! She would send treats home with all of us from the holiday dinners. We all used to celebrate Christmas at her house on Christmas Eve, and everyone would be there...her three children, spouses and all the grandchildren. She stopped doing that about 10 years ago, so my sister Sherry & I take turns. We call it the "The O'Neal Tradition". My Mommom loved to crochet. She has made many Afghans for people. I have one from her that she gave me when I was 12 years old and she made one for my son as well. She hasn't crocheted in many years b/c of her arthritis in her hands. I miss her so much even though she is still with us. I feel so bad for her that is even going through this. Her mind is going and will talk about things that happened before I was born. She doesn't usually remember something that happened a minute ago. She gets agitated alot. She will say things that are off the wall and we try to tell her its ok, but you know it;s not ok. Iam not prepared to handle it when does pass, I don't think anyone is really. I wish I could take this away for her so she isn't suffering.
Lord help her...help her get through this. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years and I love it. I have my scrapbook room (thank you baby!!!) Of course alot money went into this hobby of mine, but these are memories we will have forever. Recently, I went to my sisters house to scrapbook with friend's. We try to do this as often as we can as long it don't interfere with family time. Our Friend Tina has converted into digi scrapbooking and all she brought to the crop was her laptop and not all the crap you accumulated over time (that you think we might need or not). It's always a lot to carry. We were just amazed how her pages were. They were beautiful. All she said is that you just need is photo shop, which I have. I bought an external hard drive b/c she said the docs are big. So for awhile now I have been learning how to digi scrap. I have to say I do love it. I will continue to traditional scrapbook b/c I do enjoy it. At least I can start on some 2008 & 2009 pics that I haven't had printed yet. I am really excited to learn a new way of being creative...Thanks Tina F.!!!

We are so happy that we have been having some beautiful weather. I was so excited to turn off the heat and open all the windows. We went to visit my mother in law at the hospital (she broke her hip) and can I tell you we were so upset that the girls couldn't go in to see her because their is a nuero virus going around, so everyone had to wash their hands between rooms and floors. It was crazy!!! So therefore, we had a short visit and then off to the playground for the girls to let out some energy. It was to beautiful to stay in although I would love to get my windows clean but we will save that for another day. Johnny came over to visit and he is a mess, I mean he is talking about partying with his friends and livin' it up before he is deployed. I guess I would do the same thing too if I was in his situation. His sisters were so happy to see him and as well he was happy to hug them. I managed to snap a few photos of him and it's amazing to see how much he has grown.

Our two girls have been bickering alot lately, lord help me.... These two must have cabin fever or something. It's driving us crazy. We had two weeks of them being sick back to back. Between colds & ear infections. Not to mention the nebulizer being used to help with their asthma. Their asthma has calmed down alot since they had their tonsils removed. They got better just in time to enjoy the nice weather. Hopefully we will continue to have nice weather so the kids can use their energy outside instead of all this fighting!

Johnny is going active in Army...

Well, we just found out recently that Johnny decided to go active in the Army instead of just staying reserves. He mentions often to us how he loves the Army and he would love to be able to travel around the world, He really wants to go to Germany. Although we are scared for him, we do support him. Mark feels this would be a good move and not to mention a smart one. Johnny feels that the Army will take care of him with housing, medical insurance, schooling & work. My friend Becca talked to Johnny about it to him, she has a lot of knowledge about military b/c she grew up with it. He is waiting for the Sergeant to sign off on papers and then he will be deployed. It could happen in a month or two. Johnny will be 20 years old in June (I can't believe it) and to me he is still a kid and has his whole life ahead of him. We wish lots of luck & success with it. I know he will do what he needs to do to fight for his country. I remember when he was a senior in high school and the recruiters would call to try & get him to join and I would tell them " don't call here again" or "you are not enlisting our only son" and hang up on them. Then next thing you know Johnny made this decision on his own. A lot of people couldn't believe that he chose to do this, but this was his choice & we support him.

Update on our "former" home

Well, we found out on Saturday that our house has sold. I got off the phone with our realtor and started crying. It's definitely bitter sweet for us. However, Mark is glad that someone is buying it, because of all the heart & soul we put into it. It will be a huge load off our backs. not to mention that we are still paying bills on it and that will be something else that we don't have to worry about anymore. I love that house, we raised our children in it & we planned to grow old in that house! Everything about the area was nice. We have great friends there and it is not the same being here in our new house. although we still talk every week, It's just not the same. We would just walk in each others house.."Hey Cin, I need creamer for my coffee" or "Penny, wanna come over to scrapbook, the kids can play together!" We don't have that here. It has been hard to accept. We were still trying to save our house up until 2 weeks ago, but we were not getting any help. No one at the bank was even interested in helping us keep our home. The girls mention often how they miss there play room (it was a great room too) & friends at their old school. Thank god for our family & friends continuing support in helping us deal with this situation. We know that we are not the only ones in this nightmare, but at times you don't even think about it. You just worry about your own situation & how you can fix it so you save what you worked hard for. We will get through this and try to be positive that this may be a blessing in disguise and there are brighter days ahead of us. To our family & friends who have been there for us, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You have been truly a blessing to us and really helped us try and get through this mess. We are grateful to have you in our lives. On a positive note, Bo & Puni are doing great and are full of energy, Johnny is apparently feeling awesome, he has a girlfriend that he truly adores & for Lee & the boys they are ok, we will be seeing them soon & will keep you updated. My daycare & photography is looking positive & Mark is good & working hard. We are healthy & moving along.

Slowly grooving into 2009

Well,I can't believe we are in three weeks into the new year. Hopefully this will be a better year. Not just for us but also for others too who are having a hard time. The girls are back on routine for school and ballet. The are now in progress of learning new dance moves for their upcoming recital and they keep telling me that they can't show us b/c it's a surprise. The girls are learning tons of stuff in school. Especially math, Miranda has been having a difficult time in Math but excels in reading. So we have to keep on her & have her practice her grids daily. Gabriella is a whiz at math. She does do well with reading and boy does she loves art class. She gets so happy when its Art day! These two have been keeping us on our toes lately though...Music is playing all the time (if I hear Abba play one more time, I will will break that cd) They love Sugarland, Kansas, Areosmith & tons of 80's. Where the heck did that came from, I have no idea. They found my other cd's. Oh yea...Queen too! that one is in the Jetta. they have a nap for dance & music. I rather them have it than watching tv all day. Miranda is getting a bit sassyness lately, sometimes you just want pop her (we don't-but it makes you feel like it). She is Daddy's girl. She can be very stubborn & wants to argue...oh god...teenage years are just around the corner and we have two, did I mention we do have TWO girls. Not to mention, PMS as well. Poor Daddy too!! It's bad enough that he deals with my PMS. Between two female dogs, 1 female lizard and 3 ladies in the house.lol! Trust me, It's going to be a emotional household. Gabriella is a Mommy's girl & she tends to be the sensitive one (just like me), she takes everything to heart. These two are not to happy that I won't be home on Saturday, I am going to my sister Sherry's house to scrapbook with other girlfriends of ours. They scrapbook with me sometimes and they just want to join in the fun too, not happening this time sweeties!!! I have a new baby starting in my daycare on Jan 25th, so hopefully things will be getting better for us. My photography has slowed down abit. I took some more photos of our friends Anthony & Dana's boys and they were in love with the photos. I have a photo shoot lined up for May 2nd. I am looking forward to that as I always look forward to taking photos. That's probably why I am so far behind in my scrapbooking. I would love to get pass 2006. Johnny is having a blast with his girlfriend Jes. He doesn't call much unless we call him. He's doing his thing before he goes away for his training for the Army. Mark is trying to get the day shift position (more money), so we will see....what the the future holds for us!

Feeling depressed....and worried!

Well its been a bit hectic lately with everything going on. All though we are unpacked for the most part in our new house, we are just NOT feeling like its home to us. We really miss our house, friends and of course the girls old school. It has been very difficult for us and we are having a hard time dealing. I have been having melt downs as well as Mark (more frustration). I can't tell you how upsetting it is for us now that we lost our home b/c of sub-prime mortgages. We worked so hard for our house and did lots of renovations and here we are renting, That is just crazy and we are feeling ashamed that we allow this to happen to us. I know we will be OK, eventually! The girls are doing great in school & ballet and the really like there new Friends. They miss the more room, like their playroom, tire swing & etc. Don't get me wrong, we are very grateful to have found another house even though we don't own it. Lately its seems that everything is going wrong. My daycare enrollment is low, Mark might be laid off in February and every time we turn around money has to be put out for something. My sister Sherry & my girlfriends Dana & Cin has really heard the brunt of it. We will be talking and I am just venting or telling them what happened, before you know I am uncontrollably crying. I feel like half the time just sitting in a dark corner and cry until I can't cry anymore. I fear the strain on our marriage because of just the worry that me & Mark have. Our house is still for short-sale and we did get an offer on the house. Although it would be good to get this off our plate, we feel that it really sucks that the bank would take loss with someone else rather that us so we can continue to stay in our house. We called the bank this pass Monday to see if they would consider helping or modify our loan and they wouldn't do it. I am hoping that we will come to terms with this soon, b/c it is tearing us up knowing that someone else will make it their home. We miss our friends dearly,although we do see them occasionally, but its just not the same when they were across the street from us on our old street. This has been a very frustrating ordeal for us and we pray that will overcome this. Right now we are focused to getting the daycare up enrollment ( for more money coming in), getting my drivers license by July 3rd (hopefully) and just trying to be positive for our daughters sake. We do Thank god for our health, roof over our heads and for our beautiful children and of course each other.

Miranda isn't feeling to hot. She woke up in the middle of the night coughing, so Mark gave her a breathing treatment and some cough medicine. She laid in bed with us for abit then next thing you know she is throwing up. She didn't make it to the bathroom or the trash can but she sure made all over our bedroom carpet. You heard right, in my room & Marks side of the bed. The smell was god awful and poor Puni just there crying. We are telling her its OK and trying to make her feel better, and Mark is cleaning up the mess, not to mention he did good job at too. I had to change our bed sheets & bed skirt. It sucks dealing with this at one o'clock in the morning and having to get up at 6am, but that comes with the territory. She is home from school & will not make dance class tonight. Mark is going to take her to the Dr's tonight b/c her asthma is acting up. We have been fortunate that the girls have been pretty healthy and their asthma has been much better since they had their tonsils & Adenoids removed back in March. Hopefully she will be better for our Christmas party on Saturday. This year it is @ my sister Sherry's house. Follow up later about Dr's visit.

Busy, Busy & Busy....

Well it has been busy here every weekend. Obviously we work during the week and before you know it the girls are doing homework, eating dinner, dance class (Thursday) and always cleaning!!! Our weekends have been consumed with functions. We celebrated the girls birthday on Saturday at the the Bowling Alley. That was fun!!! The girls really had a great time and our family & friends did too. Gabriella got 2 strikes & Miranda just enjoyed rolling the ball down the lane. The adults were bowling too and we were all over the place being loud. Our friends son Colin was christened 2 weeks ago, he looked adorable in his outfit. We also celebrated Jake's 11th birthday. Sunday was family day at Johnny's Army unit and that started at 9am & ended @ 2pm, a very long day. Gabriella went to her first eye doctors appointment on Monday and she did very good. She was complaining about headaches in her forehead and it was happening off & on for awhile. So I called the pediatrician and they suggested for us to have her eyes checked. Her vision is great, but when she is trying to focus on something her eyes are all over the place so the dr. said we can do vision therapy at home like playing video games or have focus on something to fix the problem. Miranda is scheduled for her exam in January. Now we know where the headaches are coming from, thank goodness, b/c the next step was she would have to get a cat scan done.. Can you believe we finally had some snow on Thursday, My god daughter Ashley & my girls were so excited to run out & play. We didn't get much snow but every year I have to get some sort of photo of my girls in the snow or checking it out at the window. This time Ashley was part of the moment. They had a great time goofing around & being silly. They were bummed that we didn't get much snow, but we will have our time before you know it.

This month has been busy and I can't believe that thanksgiving is almost here. The girls are doing really great in school and dance, Johnny had to report to his unit last weekend and we got a phone call that he was promoted private first class...so proud of him. He really loves the Army. I celebrated my 30 something birthday on the 5th and Mark & girls surprised me with Roses & a cake. My present was a wall shelf unit for my scrapbook room and of course some scrap supplies. Mark & I are busy with work & kids (as usual). My niece's baptism was last Sunday, and I must say she looked adorable. Her gown was made from Sherry's wedding gown. Her friend Andrea's mom made and she was happy to it for a gift for Rachel. My other sis Sandra & her husband Marion was up for the celebration. Sandra & Jacob (Rachel's big brother) are god parents to her. It was a nice a visit! We didn't get to do our sister outing this time but next time for sure we will make up for it. I did the photography for the baptism and of course I took over 300 pics in a matter of a few hours. Couldn't expect less, are you kidding! The girls birthday is in a couple of weeks and I can't believe my babies are turning 7yrs old. Time flew! Another party being planned, and then Christmas! I have been wanting to take some pics of me & Mark for awhile, but as usual we are always caught up not missing moments of our kids! Which tends to sneak up on us very often. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy taking photos of our kids and of course everyone Else's kids for that matter! It's amazing how life just keeps you going crazy. Mark & I had a date this pass Saturday and our girls went over our friend Penny's house to play with her boys. It was just so nice to have together time. It was strange in the car...Quiet! Even Mark & I were quiet, just enjoying the moment together. We do try to have date nights every now & then (when life doesn't interfere!). The next few weeks will be a bit chaos. So I was glad that we took some time to ourselves even just for few hours. The girls do keep us busy. With school, Dance class & just wanting to do activities together! Having our family time together as often as possible. Finally, we have photos of us and some are goofy and some are just cute!

We have been in our new house for about a two & half weeks and we are still trying to get everything unpacked. We had bit of an adjustment here, but slowly getting there. The girls are loving their new school and their teacher is super nice. We kept the girls together for this year to help them get through and then next year they will be separated. Saying bye to their friends at their old school was very emotional, Especially for a couple of their friends. They were crying & the girls were sad too. We will continue to keep in touch & have play dates. I do miss my girlfriends that lived across the street from us, Cin had very hard time. She would call me & cry b/c she said that all she sees is an empty house and misses the times we shared going over each others house or my girls going over to visit their CinCin. Not to mention the girls would come back over with some sort of treat from Cin & Steve. They were known to sneak some sugar substance to my girls... And of course not popping over some coffee or to borrow some creamer for our java. We have a girls luncheon planned for this month and we are so excited, drinking & eating!!! The house here is great. I love the layout. The upstairs is smaller! However we have a decent size yard and a pool ( yes, we will be having pool parties). Our friends, my sister & my nephew have been a true blessing. The came over the whole weekend & kicked butt helping us unpack. Rine' took the girls for outings just so we can get things situated here and they came back with mums & pumpkins. It was so sweet to add to our fall decorations. Yes, I decorated the outside already. I must say...It looks very homey! Can I also tell you the love I have for photography. I am constantly taking pics. My sis Sandra made comment to me and said "you just don't want to miss a moment of their development" and I said of course not!!! Everywhere I go the camera is my hand. I always find a reason to take pics. My daycare families love it when I give them pics or cd's with tons of photos so they don't miss any moments, as well as my family & friends. It's a bouncing baby BOY!!! His name is Colin Joseph. He was born Sept 12th @ 9:43am, weighing in @ 7lbs 6oz & 20 ins long. He is so cute. He has blonde hair and looks just like Sean. Dana is doing great from her c-section. She looks great too! Proud Dad & Mom loves the fact that they have 2 boys to spoil now. Colin is so adorable and Sean loves his lil' brother. Yes I was there already at the hospital taking pics (they call me the paparazzi) and me & girls are going tonight after their dance class to see them. My girls can't wait to see Colin. We are moving soon in few weeks and it has been a little nuts here. All is well here, The girls are nervous about their new school, the good thing about is that my goddaughter will be in the same school and the girls are so excited. My girlfriend Dana is scheduled to have her baby on Friday, Seany is gonna be a big brother. My niece Rachel started to take her first steps, you go lil' ladybug!!!!! Johnny doing his thing being a young boy. Mark & I are packing away this house. Its amazing how much stuff you have. I knew it would be alot but I am so not looking forward to packing the basement. Oh yea, do you remember when we had a visitors making themselves a home here (mice) so far we caught 3 and we know there is another....not liking the company, they wore out there welcome. Tonight my stove caught on fire, we all are ok, nothing damaged! The drip pan had stuff in it from a pot that boiled over, well I was cooking and Bo said "mommy there is fire!!!", I was freaking b/c although I turned the stove off & removed the pan the fire got higher. I told the girls to go outside (they are crying) I yelled for my girlfriend Cin & she & Steven came over here like a bat out of hell, then Penny came over. they heard my big mouth. The fire went down on its own. Its scared the hell out of me & the girls. what a night. Tomorrow the girls start back at ballet and then one more day of work along w/ packing ...not fun right now!!!! Finally peace & quiet, now I am gonna do some scrapping. I will let you all know what Dana has on Friday, I am thinking its a girl.....

We are currently looking at houses to rent...It has been a nightmare. But, we are do what we can to get by. The girls are starting 1st grade next week and we are off today to get clothes & school supplies. And of course let our lil' Flickas get a new Barbie doll ( they have like a hundred or so) new ones are always coming out. We had a blast at the beach, not wanting to come home, Celebrated Rachel's 1st birthday yesterday. John is doing great, working at Giant and will be reporting to his unit next week. The girls are so happy to see him everyday and constantly rough housing. My girlfriend Dana is ready to have her baby in 2 weeks (she was ready a month ago) believe me when I say she looks great...all baby!!! Daycare is slowing down, need more kids enrolled, I have a photo shoot to do in Sept. Mark is stressing, he's more pissed about the house situation. Lots of been happening here. But we are trying to stay positive. Well we will keep you posted about the move. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yes we are looking for a new house (to rent, not buy). Some of you know that about 2 1/2 years ago we refinance so we can renovate our house, which we did!!! Well we got into one of those option loans, you probably heard about it on the news. Millions of homeowners are going into foreclosure or having trouble paying their mortgage b/c of this type of loan. We are one of them!!!!uh-huh, that's right, we got into this w/o talking to a lawyer! We know there is programs that will help, but you have to be in foreclosure or basically being homeless. And we are current with our payments. But we know we won't be eventually b/c our mortgage is so high and our lender will not help us and of course our lender has collapsed and aren't allowed to modify anyone's loans. Which is so stupid and we are just left hangin'. Its pretty bad when you do not know your options and no one will refinance your loan b/c there isn't enough equity and our mortgage would be $2500. a month, who the hell can pay that!!!! We are pissed about the whole thing and more pissed with the people that said the could help us and screw us at the end. We are sad that we have to give up our home, but this has been a frustrating situation with no way out. WE LOVE OUR HOUSE!!! and really sucks that we can't save it. We are trying to stay in our town so we can keep our girls in the same school district & dance school, not to mention keep my daycare going (thank you to my daycare families for all your love & support) and take my families with us. I can't even imagine packing up this whole house and never coming back. Two of my closest friends are across the street who I bake cookies with at Christmas time, scrapbook with or just having coffee together. My girls are always going to Cin's house to swim and Penny's son playing with the girls. Not to mention that all of our friends & Families coming over for parties or just to hang out. This has been a very stressful ordeal, thank you to everyone for there prayers and letting us vent..especially Dana, Sherry, Rine', Dave, Rebecca, Misty & Cin have been great to have a shoulder to cry on. Our girls have no idea what is actually going on, they just know that we will be moving in to a new home eventually. Please keep us in your prayers. I know what ever house we move into, we can make home, but we never forget our true home!!!

Hey y'all, Well its been super nuts here. We are planning to leave for the beach on Friday (Choppie, don't forget the margaritas now!!!) We are so excited! The girls love the beach. We had Johnny's welcome home party about 2 weeks ago and omg, lots of family & friends and not to mention lots of fun too. Let me tell what a stupid thing my son did, Now you all know that when you want to get your first tattoo??? And usually its a heart, star or whatever it may be, well my idiotic son got a bar-code on his arm and with his social underneath it, omg, are you kidding me!!!!???? What was he thinking. You would have to look really close to see it, we still pick on him. Not only did the tattoo artist charge him $30 but got his identity too. I still love you Johnny, but that was stupid....oh yea now he wants to put "property of the US Army" oh gees! Of course I took lots of pics and definitley to much to post, that will be sent by shutterfly. I will just add a few. And people, especially my girl Dana & sis Sherry, I know I have some typos in this blog, but life to busy to keep rechecking, its not like I am writing a letter to the president. LOL!!!! I will still accept you both busting my chops!! I will update more of the beach when we return. tootles!

Well, Johnny has been home for about a week now and has been hectic and bit unorganized (which you all know that I DON'T handle that well), and it drives me nutso! Between working with the daycare children and keeping with my girls and Johnny slouching around is not helping. Oh not to mention we have a friend that wants to live in my kitchen, a trap will be placed by Mark!!! I don't touch those things! Bo got spooked by it tonight and she freaked just like I would of and Mark laughed, me just comforting my baby. Puni just tells her "it just a mouse" and I said I don't care it's nasty! I can't wait for a couple of more weeks...BEACH here we come. Bo n Puni are so excited that they can not wait to put there butts in the sand. Our dearest friend Rine' has a beach house and she invited us to go with her. We are so excited! She is a blast to hang out with. Hey Y'all, alot has been happening!!! Our son Johnny finally came home Friday night. He was in boot camp for the Army for about 7 months. He looks great. He lost 30 lbs and grew taller (already 6ft). Some family & friends came over to see him. He has been visiting friends this whole week. We will be have a welcome home bbq for him next week.What a busy weekend! It has been exciting & overwhelming at the same time. We are just so glad he is finally home. Yipee!
